Clear thinking and simple solutions when the stakes are high.
Class IX partners with organizations navigating complexity, whether that's a process that isn't working, a strategic inflection point, or a technology transformation that has to stick. Our approach is straightforward: deliver exactly what's needed and never pad the work with solutions you didn't ask for.

We help you define clear objectives, stress-test your assumptions, and build plans that hold up under pressure. Strategic planning, data-driven decision making, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance are all part of the same discipline. We treat them that way.

Consulting firms say a lot of things. These are the four we've staked the practice on.
Clarity
We say what we actually think. The answer first, the reasoning second. If something is uncertain, we say so plainly. Most organizational problems get worse when people avoid the direct statement. We don't.
Accountability
When Class IX makes a recommendation, we stand behind it fully, through implementation, adjustment, and completion. Our engagement doesn't end when the presentation does.
Ownership
Our job is to solve your problem, not to create dependency. We design solutions you can operate, sustain, and build on long after we're gone. No unnecessary software ties, no inflated scope, no manufactured reasons to keep us around. We own the outcome. You own the deliverable.
Partnership
We are as invested in solving your problem as you are. That means getting hands-on, working inside the details, and staying engaged until the work is actually done. You know your organization better than we do. We count on that. What we bring is the outside perspective and structured thinking that turns your knowledge into a solution.
Most engagements start with a 15-minute conversation.
Let's talk →
Brian Wallis founded Class IX Consulting on a straightforward premise: the gap between where a company is and where it could be is almost always smaller than it looks. Class IX meets clients where they are, solves the problems that are actually holding them back, and delivers compact, targeted work designed to drive the business forward without adding excessive overhead.
He brings seven years of active duty service as a U.S. Army Engineer Officer, a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina, and an MBA from the University of Louisville, earned while in command of a logistics company at Fort Knox, Kentucky. That combination of technical training, graduate-level business education, and operational leadership under pressure is the foundation Class IX is built on.
Since transitioning to the private sector, Brian has delivered engagements across strategy, operations, digital transformation, and leadership development for commercial, nonprofit, and public-sector clients. He holds certifications in Project Management and Managerial Analytics, brings deep experience in Generative and Agentic AI, and maintains an active Secret Security Clearance.
