Who we are

Class IX Consulting ("Class IX," "we," "us," or "our") is a management consulting firm based in Charleston, South Carolina. Our website is cixcon.com.

What information we collect

We collect two categories of information:

Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company or organization name, and the message you submit.

Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with this site. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, general geographic region, browser type, and device type. This data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify you personally from it. Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files stored in your browser) to distinguish returning visitors. We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing, or any form of behavioral tracking.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to any mailing lists, and we do not share it with any third parties except as described below.

Third-party services

Formspree. Our contact form is processed by Formspree. When you submit the form, your data is transmitted to and stored by Formspree in order to deliver it to us. Their privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC. Google may transfer analytics data to servers in the United States and other countries. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Data retention

We retain contact form submissions only as long as necessary to respond to and follow up on your inquiry. We do not maintain a permanent database of submissions.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at brian@cixcon.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in California, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We honor those rights regardless of your location.

Children's privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
